The Youth Union of university is committed to the formation of a physically healthy, spiritually mature and intellectually developed, independent-minded young generation, protection of youth from external threats and harmful effects of "popular culture", protection of the rights and legitimate interests of youth. The union is a non-governmental, non-profit organization uniting the youth of Uzbekistan.

Functions of youth union on green campus:

 -Provide a forum for management, academic staff and students to meet and engage on environmental issues.

 -Empower students and staff to create a more balanced campus community.

 - Involve a wider variety of the campus community in environmental decision-making.

Duties:
The main tasks of a youth leader are:

  • - to formate well-rounded, independent-minded young people with their own position and convictions, able to take a worthy place in society, to be a decisive force and support in the process of reforming the country, their political culture, legal literacy and legal awareness upgrade;
  • -to educate young people, especially non-organized youth, in the spirit of spiritual and moral patriotism, to instill in them a sense of historical memory, national pride and identity, involvement in current events, respect for national and universal values;
  • -to protect the rights and legitimate interests of young people, to support their aspirations to acquire modern professions, to involve them in entrepreneurial activities;
  • -to support talented young people, create conditions for them to realize their creative and intellectual potential and involve them in scientific activities;
  • -to form a healthy lifestyle and ecological culture among young people, especially non-organized youth, and to involve them in regular physical culture and sports;
  • -to protect young people, especially unorganized youth, from the influence of religious extremist and other destructive organizations, from the negative influences and threats coming from abroad under the guise of "popular culture", to help prevent and combat delinquency and crime among young people, etc.
