Unlimited Potential: Supporting Citizens with Disabilities

On December 3, 2024, the Alisher Nava’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature hosted a special event to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The event showcased the university’s commitment to social responsibility and its practical efforts to safeguard the rights and interests of students with disabilities.

During the event, particular attention was given to female students with disabilities through open dialogues aimed at understanding their needs and interests. Discussions were held on how best to provide tailored support and assistance. Additionally, measures to encourage their social engagement and help them fully realize their potential were actively explored.

The primary goal of the event was to empower young people with disabilities to find their place in society, create favorable conditions for them, and ensure their rights are respected. The university reaffirmed its dedication to this mission by not only offering education but also fostering an inclusive environment where students can thrive socially and academically.

Initiatives like this play a crucial role in enabling youth with disabilities to showcase their abilities, while emphasizing their value as integral members of society. By promoting inclusivity and equity, such efforts contribute to a brighter and more harmonious future for all.
