On 24 October 2025, the Academic Lyceum of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature hosted an international scientific–practical conference titled “The International Status of the Uzbek Language: History, Today, and Prospects.” The event was organized in both online and offline formats by the Lyceum’s Department of Social and Humanitarian Sciences with the support of the university administration.

The conference was opened by the Rector of the University, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Prof. Shuhrat Sirojiddinov.
