TSUULL Welcomes Participants of III Tashkent International Book Fair
On November 2, 2022, the III Tashkent International Book Fair ‘Tashkent Book Fest-2022’ started its work in the capital of Uzbekistan. Representatives of international publishing and printing companies, publisher’s associations, popularisers of reading books and libraries are taking part in the book fair. This is the first such a large-scale forum in the history of the book industry, held in Uzbekistan.
Within the events of the Book Fair the TSUULL University Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, Head of Foreign Languages Department, Ph.D, Associate Professor Nargiza Rashidova, Director of Pushkin Russian Language Center Zulhumor Zhumanova were delighted to meet the St. Petersburg-based publishing agency ‘Zlatoust’ and to discuss the mutual partnership in the area of potential organization of internships and fellowships for TSUULL students specialized in Publishing.
– Publishing is a highly competitive sector and being able to demonstrate that you have relevant work experience will be a great advantage. Building up a portfolio of work that shows your skills and experience is also important. There is no doubt this is an excellent opportunity for TSUULL students to get to know international printing practices and for the University to establish cooperation with colleagues in the business sector overseas –
