TSUULL University rockets up the Times Higher Education World University Rankings!
For the first time, the University has made it into the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2023 with a ‘Reporter Status’!
It is great of acknowledging the dedication of our staff and the talents of our students.
The result comes on the back of a successful last year for the University which saw it ranked among the best in the world in the THE Impact Rankings 2022: the University scored particularly well in the category 'Quality Education' (SDG4), 'Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions' (SDG16) and ‘Gender equality' (SDG5), ‘Reduced Inequality’ (SDG10) and ‘No Poverty’ (SDG1).
This is an achievement where all TSUULL staff have contributed and can take great pride! Congratulations!
The Times Higher Education World University Rankings are the only global performance tables that judge research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. They use 13 carefully calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons, trusted by students, academics, university leaders, industry and governments.
The performance indicators are grouped into five areas:
- Teaching (the learning environment);
- Research (volume, income and reputation);
- Citations (research influence);
- International outlook (staff, students and research);
- Industry income (knowledge transfer).
