TSUULL University Attends Second Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum in Budapest: Day 1, 17 May
On 17-19 May 2023, the Second Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum was held in Hungary. As part of the First Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum which took place in Uzbekistan in 2021, 16 memorandums of cooperation were signed between the higher education institutions, but this time the Forum is being held in Hungary.
Strengthening and deepening international relations is the aim of the on-going business trip of the experts of Uzbek Delegation consisting of both Universities top-management and regional Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.
Prof. Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, TSUULL Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, has presented the University at the Forum.
On 17 May, the first day of the Forum, participants visited the Károli Gáspár Reformed University in Budapest. They got acquainted with the opportunities created by the educational process of the institution. An official reception of the Uzbek Delegation was held at Karoli Sekonitsa Palace by the management of the University.
At the official reception, Prof. Dr. László Trócsányi, Rector of Károli Gáspár Reformed University and Prof. Dr. László Borhy, the President of the Hungarian Rectors' Conference, spoke and welcomed the guests from Uzbekistan. Mr. László Trócsányi highly appreciated the increasingly developing cooperation between the two countries in the field of education and science and noted that the visit of the rectors of Uzbekistan's higher education institutions to Hungary will contribute to the expansion of the exchange of students, PhD students, researchers, professors and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
Mr. Komiljon Karimov, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan, noted that the respect shown to the representatives of the intellectuals of Uzbekistan in the building of great historical importance is the result of the special attention given to education and science in our country in recent years.
The official reception continued with dances and songs performed by young artists of the Hungarian Choreography Academy.
