SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION OF FRATERNAL PEOPLES

Promoting the positive image of the Uzbek language and literature, as well as culture, the rich history of our people to the world is a core mission of the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. On its way towards the mission, TSUULL has been implementing a number of effective measures and targeted plans. This is evidenced by the fact that the index of international institutions which we have already established effective cooperation with reached 97. In particular, our university has strong bonds with top universities of Turkey. On June 27, the Rector of our university Shuhrat Sirojiddinov welcomed the representatives of Marmara University (Turkey). 

 Initially, with the participation of Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Nozliya Normurodova and Senior Lecturer of TSUULL Sabohat Bozorova the perspective plans and missions of both sides were discussed. 

During the conversation, it was noted that cooperation is an important factor in the development of common values   of all Turkic people.

A memorandum of cooperation was also renewed between Marmara University and our university. Strengthening the ties with Turkish guests in terms of international trends and cooperation, opportunities for future prospects, establishing and expanding academic mobility, professional development of teachers, interaction in scientific, educational and methodological fields, Erasmus + and negotiations to increase the effectiveness of practical projects were all planned today.

Furthermore, establishing new directions of dual degree programs are being planned between both universities. Our Rector emphasized that the unifying of the national culture of the Turkic people will be beginning of this successful cooperation. Also, we hope that it will be very useful for our university to learn the long-term best practices of Marmara University and cooperate with this university in scientific, pedagogical and methodological spheres.

 In turn, Mustafa Chelen, a representative of Marmara University, noted that cooperation with the most prestigious universities with the richest history and culture in Uzbekistan, is also beneficial for our Turkish colleagues. 

The guests expressed deep appreciation to our university and noted that the strengthening and further development of cooperation is mutually beneficial for both sides.
