Second Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum in Budapest: TSUULL University Visits the University of Szeged, Day 2, 18 May

On 18 May, the Day 2 of the Second Uzbek-Hungarian Rectors’ Forum, TSUULL University, represented by Prof.Dr. Nozliya Normurodova, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, visited the University of Szeged (SZTE), which has a reputation for scientific and educational excellence and maintains its position amongst the top 3 universities of Hungary from year to year and ranks as the best Hungarian higher education institution on the 2022 Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University list and it is among 200 best universities of the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Ranking.
Negotiations on the establishment of cooperation between the TSUULL University and the University of Szeged began a long time ago. The SZTE University Faculty of Social Sciences and Arts has a department of Altaic languages, and the issue of teaching Uzbek Language and Literature is being considered in the same department. In addition, proposals were made to open a center promoting the Uzbek language and culture at the SZTE University.
