The regional director of THE international rankings agency visited our university, 20 June
As you know, Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature was ranked among the TOP-600+ HEIs of the world according to the Times Higher Education international rating. Today, Lachin Italmazova, regional director of this prestigious rating agency, visited TSUULL. The guest was welcomed by Nozliya Normurodova, vice-rector for international cooperation of the university. At the meeting, Lachin Italmazova congratulated the university with a successful result and got acquainted with the opportunities, facilities, and innovative initiatives created in the educational institution.
Further strengthening strategies have been discussed to advance the university position in international rankings and record high results in the upcoming years.
In addition, the results of Uzbekistan's higher education institutions that participated in the Times Higher Education Impact Rating were analyzed, and the measures to develop direct cooperation with the Times Higher Education rating agency and to increase the international position of the university were discussed.
Lachin Italmazova, in turn, talked about the main indicators aimed at increasing the university's international rating and expressed her opinion on developing cooperation with universities and organizations, increasing the number of foreign students, and improving the profile of the university on THE platform.
Most importantly, the international expert highly appreciated the university's potential and expressed confidence on the universitties potential to record great results in THE and other international rankings in the future.
