Public Talk about Uzbek Culture
The latest installment of the traditional Public Talks held at our university took place on September 27, featuring guest speaker Leora Eisenberg, a researcher with a deep interest in Uzbek culture.
Leora Eisenberg is a Ph.D. candidate in History at Harvard University. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Slavic Languages and Literature from Princeton University, awarded in 2020. Her academic achievements include the prestigious "Title VIII Research Scholar Award" from the American Councils and the "Critical Language" award.
In her lecture, Leora spoke about Uzbek culture, particularly focusing on the art of music and the significant role that various artists have played in shaping the history of our nation.
