Nowruz 2023 Celebration at TSUULL
Nowruz celebrates the Persian New Year and the beginning of Spring. Nowruz means 'New Day'.
This special event took place on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at TSUULL Campus. To this celebration, a group of talented TSUULL students was awarded at the university.
Nowruz (also called Novruz, Navruz, Nooruz, Nevruz, Nauryz depending upon the country) is a UN-recognised New Year holiday that marks the Spring Equinox. It is celebrated by hundreds of millions of diverse communities around the world. Much like the spring holiday of other cultures, Nowruz is an eco-friendly holiday which champions unity, peace and solidarity between generations, growth, and renewal.
As always, everybody enjoyed delicious Central Asian food, fun, and entertainment through a festive meal (including fresh Uzbek plov and samsa), dance performances, a fashion show and more!
