A new Fulbright guest from America

It is  TSUULL international office pleasure to inform you that the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State has approved our  request for an English Language instructor at TSUULL, starting on September 19, 2022 and concluding on July 31, 2023.
'We are delighted to have so many foreign experts and specialists at TSUULL recognized to be involved in the Fulbright programs,” said Vice rector  for international cooperation Nozliya Normurodova.  And university staff excited for our students, alumni and faculty that this  experience remains an extraordinary opportunity for our community to research, teach and learn from native speaker specialist in an increasingly global and interconnected world.   
Fullbright specialist - Blake Amann was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. This past spring, he graduated from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where he studied international politics and Russian Language. At his university, he worked with the Women’s basketball team, helping them develop skills in practice and prepare them for matches during the season. In addition to basketball, Blake also loves to play tennis and soccer and train with weights in the gym. While he has never traveled to Central Asia, he has previously lived in France and Nepal, and has traveled throughout Southeast and East Asia. He is excited to come to Tashkent and experience Uzbek culture and cuisine and explore all of Uzbekistan.
The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Program is a Fulbright U.S. Student Program sponsored and managed by the U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA). The program fosters mutual understanding between the people of the United States and those of other countries by providing a native speaker presence in elementary/secondary schools, universities, teacher training institutions, culture/language centers, or vocational schools.
