"Moving Forward to the East" summer school has commenced
As previously reported, our university won the competition organized by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to host a summer school for German students. Within this project, the summer school has officially started, where German students will immerse themselves in the Uzbek language and culture for three weeks. They will explore the landmarks of our city and become closely acquainted with our national heritage.
Throughout the summer school, there will be special lectures on the history of Uzbekistan and its place in world civilization. Additionally, master classes will be conducted on preparing dishes from our national cuisine and traditional dance art. The program also includes sessions on ancient manuscripts and calligraphy. Visits to museums in Tashkent are also planned.
This month-long Summer School will offer European students unforgettable impressions of the East. Upon returning to their countries, they will share these experiences with their families and peers, potentially increasing the flow of tourists to our homeland and expanding the scope of such summer school programs. There is no doubt that the "Uzbek School" team will ensure this summer school is organized to the highest standards!
