International Project on improving media literacy of teachers, 4 August
On August 4, Yerzhan Karimbekov, vice-rector for scientific affairs of South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University, and Botagoz Karimbayeva, dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of K. Jubanov Aktobe University, were guests at the Alisher Navoi Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature. The guests were welcomed by Nozliya Normurodova, vice-rector for international cooperation of our university.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the prospects of mutual cooperation and future tasks. In particular, on the basis of academic exchange, they created an opportunity for students and professors to improve their qualifications and exchange experience, and it was agreed to carry out consistent work on increasing scientific potential together. In addition to the above, all three universities are also expected to jointly implement a major project. This project is important and relevant as it is aimed at improving the media literacy of professors and teachers. Because it is difficult to imagine today's science and education without mass media. Unfortunately, scholars do not always have deep knowledge about media literacy. In this respect, the implementation of this project will help form a pedagogical team that is in tune with the current times.
