Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is a high-ranking public and globally oriented university, offers top-quality Bachelor‘s and Master‘s programmes, taught completely in English, various scholarships, language courses, academic mobility and internships.
Only students nominated via the online system will receive information on the application procedure. Choose ‘VMU Bilateral Exchange’ as an Exchange Programme for nomination. Please note that VMU does not offer scholarships under VMU Bilateral Exchange Programme (except in cases defined in MoU).
- 1) The exchange students can be accepted according to VMU exchange eligibility criteria:
- 2) The candidate's GPA must be at least 70% of the maximum grade;
- 3) During the application, 2 semesters must be completed by an undergraduate student/1 and one semester - by a graduate student;
- 4) English language proficiency should be at least B2 level according to the European language levels (or equivalence).

Deadline for applications – May 17th
The visa application procedure is subject to change from July 1st, 2023, according to the new regulation of the Migration Department of the Republic of Lithuania.
The new visa application will be organized through VFS Global from July 1st.
Visa applications submitted according to the current law will be accepted by the Lithuanian Embassies/Consulates until July 1st.
