Direct Dialogue with the Community – A Step Toward Practical Solutions
On September 25, 2025, Academician Shuhrat Sirojiddinov, Rector of the University and Deputy of the Tashkent City Council of People’s Deputies, held an open dialogue with residents of the “Tashabbus” community in the Yangihayot District of Tashkent.
The meeting aimed to engage directly with the local community, understand their living conditions, listen to their needs and concerns, and identify practical, on-site solutions to existing challenges.
During the dialogue, community members openly discussed issues related to infrastructure development, youth education and upbringing, quality of education, and community engagement. The head of the community, Z. Sayidkhojayeva, also shared her views and conveyed residents’ proposals regarding pressing matters. Academician Shuhrat Sirojiddinov attentively listened to each request and emphasized that appropriate measures would be taken to address them.
Special attention was given to families in need, who received necessary assistance. Participants were also briefed on ongoing national reforms under the leadership of the President, including efforts to strengthen community institutions, improve public welfare, ensure youth employment, promote entrepreneurship, and enhance education and healthcare systems.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was noted that systematic efforts to further revitalize the community’s social and cultural life in cooperation with local leaders would continue consistently.
