Achievements of Department of theoretical and applied linguistics

On September 30, 2023, Jumanazar Orozov, a senior teacher of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, received a Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) diploma in philological sciences.
Abjalova Manzura Abdurashetovna, associate professor of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, won the competition of practical projects held on the basis of the state order for scientific research works with her project "Creation of Alisher Navoi's Author Corpus (Based on Ghazals from the Collection of Khazayin ul-Maoni)" was awarded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation.

On April 5, 2024, the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics and the Institute of Military Heritage and Modern Research of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a republican scientific conference on the topic "The role of ancestors in the development of world military work and military art: as an example of literary and historical sources" -practical meeting was held.

On March 28, 2024, at the initiative of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, a republican scientific-practical conference called "Modern Directions of Linguistics" was held.

On March 18, 2024, the presentation of "Dictionary of synonyms of the Uzbek language" published in co-authorship by H. Dadaboyev and M. Abjalova, professors of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, was held.
On May 1, 2024, associate professor Iroda Azimova, head of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of Alisher Navoi University of Uzbek Language and Literature, participated as a judge in the Reading Contest held at the Presidential School in Tashkent.
On February 29, 2024, the teacher of the Department of Theoretical and Applied Linguistics, Elyor Khonnazarov, received the diploma of Doctor of Philosophy (PHD) in philological sciences.
On the first Monday of every month, a theoretical-methodological seminar is organized with the participation of professors and teachers of the department, doctoral students and independent researchers.
