Negotiations at Ca’ Foscari University
Within the framework of the Second Forum of Rectors of Uzbekistan and Italy, the Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation and International Cooperation of Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, Nozliya Normurodova, and the Head of the International Relations Department, Ozodakhon Gulyamova, visited Ca’ Foscari University of Venice.
During their visit, they held a meeting with the Rector of Ca’ Foscari University, Tiziana Lippiello, where discussions focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the two higher education institutions. The parties explored opportunities to expand academic exchange programs, establish joint educational programs, strengthen the integration of scientific research, and enhance collaboration within grant-funded projects.
The meeting also addressed specific organizational aspects of establishing an Italian Language and Culture Center at Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature, as well as opening an Uzbek Language and Culture Center named after Alisher Navo’i at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice. It was emphasized that these centers would elevate cooperation in language, literature, and cultural studies between the two countries to a new level.
In addition, the participants exchanged views on the scientific, organizational, and technical tasks required for the implementation of joint projects. Agreements were reached on coordinating project stages, organizing joint research teams, and developing digital platforms in priority areas of cooperation.
