KOICA Volunteers Complete Intensive Uzbek Language Course at TSUULL
On 24 July, our university held the closing ceremony for the Intensive Uzbek Language Course organized for the 169th group of volunteers from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA). Over the course of one month, the participants completed an intensive program designed to develop their Uzbek language proficiency.
As part of the course, the KOICA volunteers completed 90 hours of instruction, gaining a solid foundation in Uzbek grammar, conversational skills, and everyday communication. The program combined theoretical instruction with practical language activities, enabling participants to build confidence in using the language in real-life situations.
In addition to improving their language skills, the volunteers had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Uzbekistan's history, culture, traditions, and national values. This cultural component will support their work in Uzbekistan and help them communicate more effectively with local communities.
During the closing ceremony, participants were recognized for their achievements and wished continued success in their future volunteer activities. The event also provided an opportunity for participants to reflect on their learning experiences and express their appreciation to the instructors for their guidance and support.
The intensive language course represents another important milestone in strengthening cooperation between KOICA and TSUULL. It also contributes to supporting international volunteers in learning the Uzbek language while promoting intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding between Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea.
