UZBEK LANGUAGE EDUCATION FACULTY

        The  Uzbek language education faculty is unique  in the existing system of philological education in the country. The faculty was established on September 6, 2021 by the order of the Rector of the University No. 01-299  based on the  Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 3, 2020 No 117 "On measures to further improve the activities of the Alisher Navo’i Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature". The faculty combines the following scientific fields: Uzbek language in foreign language groups,  Applied Philology.  There are 2 departments at the faculty:  

  • Uzbek language education
  • Applied Philology

      Although  AUzbek language education faculty new, it has established cooperation with several foreign countries. In particular, it collaborates effectively with Kazan Federal University, Moscow State Linguistic University, Azerbaijan State University of Languages, Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University, Ankara University, Belarusian State University, L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University.


    Currently, the teaching staff of the faculty is conducting research on the practical project A-OT-2019-10 "Naming in the Uzbek Language: Creating a Regulatory Framework" for 2019-2022. The project is expected to result in a number of serious innovations in Uzbek Anthropology.  The teaching staff of the faculty 4 professors and 17 PhDs.  Dean of the faculty: Doctor of philology, Professor Saodat Muhamedova.
